Standard horizontal tanks are fabricated using hot-rolled carbon steel but stainless steel construction is also an option. Supports, stabilizers, saddles and skids can be fitted to any horizontal tank for a fully customized installation. Tanks are coated with interior coatings that are designed specifically for the storage of aviation fuel, chemicals, potable water, and numerous other liquids.
Tanks can also be designed to meet National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 30/30A criteria for fire-resistant industrial tanks. The Flameshield design utilizes a double-wall design for safety and fire resistances.
